"The stay was great. We arrived in the early evening and were given a good room. I requested a roll away bed for our son. We were told that unfortunately they didn't have any left, but they could upgrade us to a mini suite. They enabled us to have a successful trip by moving a few things around while treating us as valued individuals and guests. The spa and pool were under renovation during our vist "

"I spent two nights visiting for opera at The Hippodrome. It was just about 15 minutes’ walk to the Theatre and I felt safe as a woman of 74. Holiday Inns are all spotless and just what you need for a comfortable night or two."

"Staff was lovely. Room was clean and spacious but the bed is a bit small for a couple. Great location as has a small Tescos and Sainsbury’s close by. B4 Parking just round the corner and even for someone on crutches it’s easily walkable. "

"The room was very small, but functional. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and linens, and quiet. Check in was almost too quick - I had a hard time catching everything she was saying. Super convenient to rail station and many restaurants. Great value for money but if you are a large person who has trouble in small places you might want to try somewhere else."

"Upon an early arrival, Stephen did his utmost to provide an early check in on the 4th floor which he did with upmost efficiency. Even at 14.00 when a room became available ! The suite was cleaned 100% Bathrooms installed with large white towels and luxury soap dispensers Wardrobes with sufficient hangers for at least, a 2 night stay along with a quality hairdryer, iron and ironing board. "I would recommend this hotel for someone wanting a place to sleep near the city centre. We stayed here four nights while we explored and it was brilliantly located for the trains, trams and walking. The lift was out of order when we arrived and the staff took all our luggage to our room for us, after switching us to a room on the first floor. The beds were comfortable and the bar area excellent.
