"The room was excellent for European hotel room. Very clean, comfortable bed, linens & bath products provided. Separate water closet & shower areas. We were upgraded to a junior suite & it was great! Kettle in room, bar in room (xtra of course) 2 waters provided per day. Elevator available. Rooftop bar was awesome. Close to Campo di Fiori market, Tiber River & all that that area provides. Would definitely stay again. "

"We had a lovely stay at the Martis Palace Hotel. It was close to shopping and a variety of restaurants. A grocery store and pharmacy were within walking distance in case you want to purchase some water/snacks or if you forgot a needed toiletry. Many attractions were in close walking proximity and/or, the very attentive hotel staff, was more than willing to contact a taxi for your convenience. "The hotel is located at a very convenient location with a minimart nearby. The courtyard was very pretty and we enjoyed a takeaway meal there. The staff were also very friendly and polite. The only negative thing is that the shower head in the room is fixed and cannot be adjusted or moved round much. Bed was very comfortable but the noise from the Ponte Sisto bridge might be loud for some. There is also a lift in the hotel which is definitely a plus. "We have had a fabulous week long stay at Horti 14. The rooms are very large with excellent finishes and fittings. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day including new towels and bedding. The location is excellent at the end of a cobbled street with little or no traffic noise yet walking distance to the Vatican and Colosseum. There are many traditional restaurants just minutes away."
