Our only complaints were how hot the rooms were( a/c never cooled it down and window barely cracked open). It would be unbearable in the summer and they tended to only give us two small towels. Had to get extras every day. Overall, I would stay here again but in cooler months. "

"Cute little hotel with kind staff. It was being prepared for renovations while we were here which created some commotion with the lifts and traffic in the lobby. The room was comfortable and gym was good. We cut our stay short to stay closer to the sights and the staff was incredibly gracious about the change. Thank you for having us!"

"Had a really lovely stay at the Strand Palace. We recieved a free upgrade to a King size double room. The hotel was reasonably quiet and the food was great, a huge selection was available for breakfast. The only slight criticism is that the cold water tap in the ensuite bathroom kept running hot. Don't know what was wrong with the plumbing, but it wasn't very convenient to brushing your teeth!"
