10/10 Excellent
"If you want to stay at the best villa with a gorgeous beach view, this is the best private house in Manuel Antonio. The sunset from the upper and lower deck had an amazing view of the sunset and rain forest. It is a short walk to the beach (10 mins) and to Manuel Antonio National Park (45 mins). All the popular restaurants were within a 15 min drive and 3 small super markets were nearby. If you prefer to walk, a half dozen restaurants were within a 30 min radius. All rooms, to include the living area, had cold A/C and good water pressure. Beach towels were included and maid service is available to wash your clothes. The only complaint we had was parking at the villa. It is a bit steep but you will get used to it after a few tries. If you are into the wildlife, Monkeys and colorful birds were at our deck each day. One day we had over 20 Monkeys. It is suggested not to feed the monkeys so make sure you don’t have fruit laying around or they will steal it from your bag or hand. Parasailing and surf lesson are only a few minutes when you enter the beach. We paid 60 per person for a 30 min parasailing ride. Waves can be large but we didn’t experience any dangerous rip tides but everyone still needs to be vigilant as people drown from rip tides in Costa Rica every year. "
"The staff made this vacation stay exceptional for us. The kindness went beyond what we could’ve imagined. The food here was better than the restaurants we’ve tried outside of the hotel. And the morning sunrise views were immaculate. The free breakfast included with the stay was great! And the monkeys swinging from tree to tree while eating was definitely exciting to watch. I highly recommend this stay if you’re in the area. "
