"The hotel is nice and most people at the reception, restaurant and housekeepers are very polite and helpful. However I have also experienced that things asked would not be done even though promised to be fixed, for example filling empty body lotion bottle. I’ve been staying at this hotel over some years. "Nestled in the hills surrounded by lush greenery, the Alver Hotel was our base for kayaking in the spectacular fjords. We stayed in an updated cabin that was well equipped with the basic necessities, including an in unit washer and dryer. Our stay includes a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. If possible I would give a sixth star for the friendly staff who went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant and memorable."
