"Easy walking to Born and Gothic neighborhoods, as well as the harbor and beach. The room was itty bitty with no place for suitcases, and it wasn't the cheapest room... But we had a look at the larger rooms and they are lovely. So upgrade a bit if you can!"

"A good price budget hotel in a perfect location in the Gothic Quarter, truly the heart of Barcelona. Simple, clean and basic ensuite rooms. Surrounded by a maze of alleys containing shops, bars and places to eat. Only negative was noise, some very noisy 5am shouting inside the hotel, although vast majority of people I ever saw were more grown up. "

"This hotel is right in the heart of the gothic district yet was pretty quiet at night. The staff has you turn over your key, which was nice because I did not have to worry about losing it and they give it back whenever you return 24 hrs a day. The bathroom was pretty large and had excellent hot water and shower pressure. "

"Hip Karma Hostel was a great place to stay! We were a group of 14 people so booked the 8 bed and 6 bed rooms (both private - only us). The bathrooms are shared with everyone in the hostel but we had no issues with this - they were kept clean and tidy, and no queues. The only issue we had was that you have to pay for bedding (not included on booking), and even though we booked the whole room, we weren’t allowed a key to the bedroom. The person at reception had to keep opening the bedroom door for...

"Lovely hotel. Great location on Placa de Catalunya and at the top of La Rambla. Metro station literally outside hotel and buses (including airport bus) stop other side of the plaza. Basic but clean hotel. Rooms cleaned daily. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Would stay here again."

"We enjoyed our stay at H LA Poloma Location is very good walking distance to old town, roughly 20mins. Room was cleaned every day. We were very happy with the bed, big bed nice and comfortable, good sleep. Could be improved with kettle and small fridge, we brought kettle with us, for coffee in the morning. Shower and bath good size very good No view or balcony, but not spending a lot of time in room. Staff was very helpful with answering all our questions expecially JB and Karla "

"We spent very little time at the hotel as we had tours booked everyday. This hotels location was perfectly central. Very short walk from where airport shuttle AEROBUS drops you off. Very close to las Ramblas. If you are looking for a comfy bed and clean room this no frills hotel will do it"
