"Fabulous location. Was a bit dubious at first as it is located in the student halls of the university but as soon as we opened the door to the room we were very pleasantly surprised and impressed. Great for close proximity to all the sights and in the evening the nightlife of Cork is just a 4 minute walk away. Would definitely come back as there are still some unfinished sights and sounds to be had. "

"I didn't realize this was a student dorm facility that apparently they rent out during the summer months. No air conditioning in the room and it was quite warm in there. Not much in the area in regard to dinning or anything else. Lots of students around being loud at night. Check-in was interesting because it's not like a regular hotel. "The initial check-in was very welcoming. The space was clean, airy, and a wonderful welcome gift was waiting for us in the kitchen. Very thoughtful. Our kids loved having their own rooms. The home is very spacious and allowed a family of five great opportunities to gather as well as get some time alone. We loved it!"

Private outdoor area. Cormac was a friendly host. Quick drive or short walk to beach. Ballymaloe Culinary School w. Farm and Gardens less than 10 mins drive. Nice pub in village - the Goalpost. Finer hotel w. dining and bar near the beach and a number of good resturants across the bay. "
