It's super cozy, clean, the staff is awesome, the beds are "private" - each one has blackout curtains, light, plugs, and are very confortable. Really enjoyed my stay at Glengarriff Hostel. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The self check-in was easy, and the free tea, coffee and breakfast basics were a nice bonus. The location is perfect for exploring Glengarriff and the Beara Peninsula, and the host was always quick to help if I had any questions. I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone backpacking around Ireland.

This place is a real find the staff very friendly The bedroom was very nice and spacious The bathroom very spacious also the room was spotlessly clean the bed very comfy the breakfast is cooked to order and again the staff very efficient I would definitely stay here again it was excellent value and we had a very pleasant stay The only downside no bar however they are open to you bringing your own drink in and they are happy to supply ice & glasses you are welcome to have your drinks...

There was a sense of being an honoured guest in someones home rather than simply 'staying' there. I don't think I've been anywhere where the staff were so friendly and prompt in their anticipation/response to your needs right from the moment you arrived. In addition the location is stunning. It is not often you can stay among rolling hills with walks among exotic flora and have the sea gently roll in and out at the same time. While the village of Kenmare just outisde the gates is lovely,...

Stay in the hotel was fantastic. The spa facilities were a real plus and the service was brilliant. The only down side was we chose to have our evening meal in the Lounge. The meal itself was fantastic and second to none but we were staying at the hotel at the same time as some Christmas parties and found that the lounge was just a pre drinking spot for all the party guests. A bit loud for an evening meal but didn't affect our stay too greatly. Still a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location.
