"What an amazing location to stay in the Speyside area and in Dufftown. My expectations were well exceeded by the fit out and finish of the property, the size and space and practical appointments for this accommodation. A modern bathroom complimented the more traditional cottage feel and there was also a washing machine that was very timely at this stage of my holiday. "The hotel is well situated and the staff were very helpful. Our room had a very comfortable bed and seemed to have been recently renovated & decorated. There was a table with two comfy chairs looking out to sea which we enjoyed. However the electrics had not been adapted fully to accommodate the renovations meaning there was only one useable socket. The plumbing in the en-suite had also not been brought up to date meaning the toilet was difficult to flush and took a long time to fill up, The...

"I really like this hotel, especially as it has a lift. However, his time i was in room 7 which, oddly, had 3 sets of drawers but nowhere to hang clothes. There was no wardrobe, hanging rail or even a supply of hangers (fortunately I'd brought a couple with me)and only 1 hook, on the back of the door. I resorted to using the towel rail to hang my work clothes on! This niggle aside, it was a well priced, clean, comfortable and quiet room and I will return (with more hangers, lol). "

"A place of real quality. I had a superb sea/ golf course view which was a great room. The restaurant was an absolute must to visit, brilliant food and very well priced for what you got on your plate, hardest thing was deciding what to choose from the menu. Also must mention the staff who couldn’t do enough to help you."
