Top Hexham Hotel Reviews
Anchor Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Easy to find, pleasant staff and great location alongside the river"
Twice Brewed Inn
8/10 Good
"Twice Brewed is an ideal location for exploring Hadrian’s Wall and the Roman forts. It’s also in a dark skies area for those who enjoy stargazing. The food at dinner and breakfast is excellent in both quality and choice and can be accompanied by beer brewed on site"
Holly Bush Inn
8/10 Good
"An enjoyable and relaxed stay. Old property with some interesting rustic features, but the absence of any drawer storage in the room was a problem. Good breakfast. Evenig meal menu was limited, not offering a great choice of normal English fare for an older couple."
The Queens Arms Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great little pub and the owners are fantastic. I loved it"
Battlesteads Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay for two nights at Battlesteads. Two things really stood out - the food was excellent (except chips - a minor thing), and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming without being overbearing. The last point, about how all staff were nice to interact with, was a major selling point and is why we will return. A special shout out to Dan ("Dan, Dan, the beverage man") for being so helpful and recommending Flyte - a top tip! Ad Gefrin sold two bottles to us as a result! Such a pleasant time, great food, and drink, and an impressive walking guide (which we used) and an observatory on the door step!"
The Coach and Horses
10/10 Excellent
"It was a lovely breakfast. We had English Breakfast, a fruit salad and a yoghurt. Plenty to choose from."
NE46 4PW
