"Good hotel, amazing location, good breakfast spread (eggs, bacon, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, croissants, pancakes, juice). We had the family room which was on 4th floor. The only con would be that the room was really warm, even though it was cold outside. We needed to switch the AC on because it was so warm in the room. Other than that very convenient stay."

"Limited staff on site but very friendly and relax environment. Breakfast was a bit expensive considering that there is a Supermarket next door."

"We were assigned to room 204 even though the hotel was not full. Directly below our room is a bar that plays music until midnight. The hotel is great - just make sure you ask for a room on the fifth floor opposite side of the bar! "

"You must have a phone or internet in order to check in. Very inconvenient for international travelers. There is no reception. No one physically present. Internet was an issue during the stay. On and off (mostly off) during the whole stay. Best bed ever. We had a twin and requested a change to king. It was fine immediately. The mattress topper was amazing. Excellent linen and pillows. Room was good though there were some minor finishing touches. "

"Reception asked if we wanted advice on where to eat, we declined but we only found one restaurant open as most places are closed on Mondays. Mercure has a bar but was closed. Mercure has a restaurant but was closed. The next morning we were asked if we enjoyed are stay and said yes but room was very hot. We were then told air-con will not be installed until end of 2023. Not impressed."

"This was a great hotel in the heart of Old Town Bern. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was charming. If we return to Bern, we would stay at this same location. "

"Had a wonderful stay, though short. We would love to return and stay longer. The rooms were clean, the staff were cheerful, friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the creativity and uniqueness of the set up and offerings."

"This location is no ideal for someone interested in exploring Lucerne, Interlaken, Zermatt or any sightseeing places. It is remote. There are trains hourly connecting to Thun and Bern but no direct train to Interlaken. It looks countryside without many shopping options nearby except a convenient store. There is no air condition and windows don't open at all, and hence no fresh air. Windows are only fixed glass windows for day light."

"All is new, very nice apartments, new Building but no air conditioning, very hot during summer, have to buy a Fan so it was a little better, washing is okay but confusing! I used it for two times washing and drying, and I paid for 5 cycle, because Maintenance interrupted the power and when restart it count like a new cycle !!!!!!"
