"The owner was really friendly. Hotel is old but well maintained. Food is basic bar meals but reasonably priced and good quality."

"We were met at the door on arrival by owner Tom,he gave us a lovely welcome then showed us around the hotel before escorting us to our room which was exquisitely decorated and furnished ,looked like new,attention to small detail was fantastic including a welcome drama of whisky ,disposable slippers,nice touch.full scottish breakfast was absolutely delicious, will definitely be back.well done Tom."
