"Location: sea view and the beach across the road. Unfortunately the beach was closed due to some issues with the sand and the weather was stormy. But we had a great view at the bay and the castle. Welcoming staff and very nice breakfast. A minus in the room: the shower space is a bit small though."

"We loved Hotel Il Saraceno!! This beautiful and peaceful hotel in Volastra, high above Manarola is easily accessible by shuttle bus that runs almost continuously. We loved everything—the decor, the quiet, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the patio—but our favorite was Antonella, the proprietor. She is amazing! Her warmth, efficiency and charm are endearing! Plus, she speaks perfect English!"

"Our room has a porch and a view of the ocean, so it was great! But the downside is we had to walk several flights of stairs to get to the room with a view. Overall the hotel staff offered great service for our short stop at Cinque Terre. "

"A good place to stay for a couple of nights. It’s beautifully refurbished and v clean. Breakfast is nice too. It’s quite a walk into town or the train station, 30 mins or so, but there’s a a v good pizza place just down the road. We arrived mid afternoon which does not fit in with the hotels checking in hours, but after a phone call we were able to get in, much appreciated after a very long drive. "

"Lovely hotel perched up high on a hill overlooking Monterosso- in fact, one can see all 5 towns of Cinque Terre from the hotel grounds. Clean, comfortable, good-sized room; if available, book a room with a balcony for a fantastic view. Shuttle van to & from hotel into Monterosso was very much appreciated as walking up or down the hill would be difficult. Breakfast was excellent with many choices to suit all tastes (8-10 am). Staff were efficient but not overly friendly, which was fine. Nice...

Did not have sea view but backside dining area storage was not ugly looking. LeGrazie is a lovely , quiet town, with friendly people. Harborwalk in front of hotel is under construction. "
