"What an amazing stay! The host were so friendly and breakfast was amazing. A.c in the room worked and the view was great. The room was great for two people. The hike down to town was steeo and short, it was fun for us because we are active and do it often. If you are out of shape I would not reccomend unless you are willing to drive to town or pay for a taxi. It was perfect for our short trip."

"This is a beautiful former monastery high up above Monterosso. You need to contact the hotel in advance to make a shuttle reservation and they will pick you up near the train station. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. Most of the other guests were hikers from the trail between towns. We sat outside at sunset with a glass of wine, admiring the beautiful view. While there’s no Wi-Fi or AC in the rooms in the main building, it was very comfortable, clean and quiet. There were large windows we opened to let in the breeze. We stayed with our college age kids who loved the location."

"We drove into Cinque Terre, so we needed to find a hotel in Monterrosso Al Mare. This hotel provided onsite parking for free which was wonderful! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast that was included was great. "

"HIGHLY recommend this place. It’s very easy to get to, offers parking, and is only a short walk from the beach! Very convenient location. Breakfast is included as well and the staff were so helpful and friendly! If you’re going to Cinque Terre I’d recommend staying in Monterosso and then visiting the other villages via train which is super easy (plus the hotel offers a discount on the Cinque Terre card which allows you to take the train as much as you want for a 24 hour period). "
