"​I had mixed feelings about my stay here. On the positive side, the check-in process was smooth and everything else about the service was good. However, there were some issues with the room quality that guests should be aware of. ​The main photo on their website is actually shared with the hotel next door, which makes the property look different than it really is. More importantly, the photos of the two-bedroom suite are misleading regarding the size—the rooms are much smaller than they appear online. ​When I entered, the room had a notable dusty smell. I tried leaving the windows open to air it out, but the scent lingered throughout my stay. While it wasn't a terrible experience, I wish the room quality and size had matched the expectations set by their page."

"Lovely place in quiet setting with just the sound of the ocean waves to lull us to sleep. Hospitable and attentive staff. Comfortable room with expansive view to ocean. Guest rooms in different corners of the lodge to give privacy. Generous breakfast. Pathway directly to beautiful beach. Would stay again if back in Newport area. "

"It’s a shame you cannot access the beach from the resort- our dog was very sad and so was our extremely muddy sandy car after we had to drive to the beach but other that a well taken care of older condominiums"

"Room/condo was awesome. Full kitchen, spacious rooms and 3 bathrooms!! The pool/ sauna were great. Except they closed at 4pm!!! On a Friday night and Saturday!!! When asked they explained that they are having staffing issues. But we were a little disappointed because we came for the pool and the coast. Otherwise everything was fantastic. Beach access was a little hike, but beautiful and private. They had tons of fun board games/ puzzles to borrow. Also a wonderful coffee/ hot chocolate bar that our kids LOVED! I would definitely come back and recommend. I hope they are able to extend the pool hours. "
