"This was our first time staying at the Marshal House. We were able to check in early and park in the public garage behind the hotel. Very convenient and cheaper than the valet parking. They offered free water, coffee and tea all day. They provided a wine and cheese happy hour everyday between 5 and 6:30 with entertainment. Breakfast each morning. Great location for walking everywhere. Very historic building and very welcoming! "

"I booked at this hotel for a short getaway with my boyfriend while we were in town for a true crime convention at the Savannah Convention Center. From the moment we arrived, we both knew we would enjoy our stay. Grumpy was a nice handyman who was cordial and helped me with my bags, and the front desk folks were friendly and clear on the reasonable hotel rules. "Loved this hotel!! My dd and I stopped here for 1 night on the way home from a very long drive. The sheets are GLORIOUS!! Truly one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in!! VERY clean. Only issue was the free breakfast is bagels only. I’m gluten free, so this was a no-go for me. I was able to purchase hard boiled eggs from the market. Coffee is good and strong. Will definitely stay here again. "

"The Desoto is towards the north end of Tybee away from the pier. It is quieter and less crowded usually. The hotel room was very nice. They pillows and bed was very comfortable. It looked as though it had been remodeled in recent years. We walked and rode bikes everywhere."
