"My lower scores dont detract from the enjoyment of our stay.The Guest house suited our needs in regards to location and handiness to main transport links.Although the Dean Park is obviously still a work in progres and some areas a bit dated,the place is clean and tidy and has enough for me to recommend for a short stay.Where Dean Park scores highly is in its welcome and the attention of its host and owner Fred,one of the nicest Hosts we have ever met,and im sure if needed any forthcoming help...

"We arrived late because of ferry issues, and therefore the guy in reception who was very helpful, was also serving meals. Our room was up 2 flights which did cause my husband issues with his breathing. The room itself was very small, but clean, warm and comfortable double bed. Nice big shower but nowhere to put toothbrushes and toiletries. "

"We spent one night at the Corrie: really impressed by the staff, esp the manager Taylor and co-owner Rodger, who both went out of their way to accommodate us as we had ferry hiccups. Everyone we interacted with as friendly, helpful and really welcoming. The only room available when we booked was their simplest double: yet it was comfortable and definitely echoed the historic character of the building. Standouts: our dinner (their signature burger & Steak & Ale pies with side salads) was...
