"we stayed here whilst visiting St Albans, it was perfect. Room was lovely,very comfortable bed, powerful shower, very clean. We ate in the restaurant on the first night, would recommend, tasty and good value. Breakfast was very good, nice selection and the cooked breakfast set us up for the rest of the day. Bar was good too, overall a perfect stay with lovely friendly staff. No hesitation in staying here again."

"Very nice room in a good setting overlooking countryside. The staff were extremely helpful with nothing too much trouble and very polite. Very clean hotel and well looked after. One issue was that the restaurant was quite expensive with a starter plus main course for 2 of us and a glass of wine costing c. £100 in total, although this did include a 12.5% service charge at the end of the bill which was discretionary and I didn’t notice until after I had paid. However, this wasn’t indicated...

"Well placed outside of Milton Keynes centre with easy access by road. Good parking, pleasant surroundings on edge of a golf course. The staff were really nice and very helpful - couldn’t do enough to meet our needs. Approaching the entrance doesn’t do the hotel enough justice as the rooms and interior are very good in terms of decor and facilities so could probably do with a bit of a facelift outside. Food was good and also at a reasonable price and breakfast was included within the overall...

"I loved the interior decor of the hotel and the ambience. The rooms were in good condition for the age of the property. All the staff were super friendly and helpful but at times there were not enough especially at breakfast time. The breakfast choices were a bit similar with brioche buns or sourdough on most dishes making it hard to choose if bread is not your thing. "
