"This is the concert hotel for us! Moda Center just a few blocks away which makes it easy. Wish they wouldn't crush you on parking fees if you're staying there in the hotel. Only other downside is no microwaves in the rooms. Other than that its great! Clean rooms and friendly staff. "

"This is hands down my wife and my "go-to" hotel in Portland. We live in Portland, have stayed there well over 4 times. We ABSOLUTELY Love the Suite and it is worth the money. We love the vintage look and feel and the beds are extremely comfortable which is important because my wife has severe chronic back pain. For my wife and I, the Grand Stark has supplanted another 'hip' hotel in Portland (on Stark across the water in the Pearl) as our go-to when we visit Portland. We love that we can walk to excellent restaurants, bars, and music venues from the Grand Stark. An on-site restaurant/bar is a must, and the Little Bitter Bar (serves food from the Grand Amari) was perfect. We will definitely be back."
