"The P&P provision bar and Livingston Bar and restaurant was excellent! There was affordable and m delicious dishes. I really enjoyed the gumbo and berry mock tail from P & P late at night. And the next day I had a wonderful view of the fox theatre and a grand breakfast with the most amazing waiter named Earl at Livingston Bar and Restaurant. The front desk staff was especially helpful with getting taxis for me for my excursions in the city, my trip would have been a look harder without Thembela...

"The Courtland Grand is comfortable, clean, and convenient to everything downtown. It was very crowded at check-in but all of the staff stayed calm and helpful. Guests were treated to pizzas and infused water when they entered the lobby. Overall, a very pleasant experience."

"The check in could be faster and the elevators are slow. There are 8 and somehow it’s not enough. The hotel is obviously pretty old, BUT it has been renovated which is nice. The parking garage is claustrophobic. The height is only 6’ for vehicles and tight turns. Leave the big SUVs at home. "

"This was my first time staying at The Starling and I must say each staff member was a delight. Eric at the Guest Services/Front Desk area made sure that I had a wonderful experience and Dontrell from The Lounge area treated myself and friends with great food and drinks throughout our stay. Even the Valet team always had high energy and enthusiasm. The entire atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant and truly unlike anything I’ve experienced. "Phenomenal Hotel & Staff! "

"Very welcoming very friendly staffs really appreciate their customer service. What I didn’t like is that it wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been the doors were dirty also the tub, there was hair strands all over the bathroom as well. The room needed some updating on paint and appliances as well. "
