"Lovely hotel, room, setting. Clean and spacious room. Although bad part was booking a table for a meal. After speaking to what looked like the bar manager he says 7pm so we had a drink at the bar to wait. He suggested nibbles which we had and got charged over the top for them 7pm came and went and we enquired if our table was ready at 7.20pm. he shrugged us off and ignored us after this so we ended up leaving at 7.45 to find a restaurant elsewhere. Rude man."

"The hotel advertises that it has AC but it didn’t work in either of the rooms we had. It was in the 30’s outside and we were able to open a window and somehow, the room was still very hot to sleep in. That would be my only complaint. The hotel is nice and the bed is very comfortable. "

"Interesting experience; the check-in process was completely automated and handled in a smooth and user-friendly way. The room was clean, though basic, and the view of the city was unmatched. We had a great vista of the castle perched on the hilltop above. Breakfast was very good also. "

"Staff was excellent including restaurant staff Perfect location to explore all tourist spots. All tourist spots within walking distance. Bus stop 2 to 3 minutes walk. "

"Fantastic welcome from friend and very helpful receptionist. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Bed especially comfortable provided an excellent night’s sleep. Breakfast however was a little disappointing annd not very good value especially for vegetarians. While there was a good range of bread, the choice of cereal was limited to sweet things aimed at children and a horrible instant porridge. Could have done better on fruit too. Reasonable convenient for the train station and places to eat...

"In general, I really like the property. The room is spatial and tidy. We got a mountain-facing room, and the view was awesome. I would recommend for people. Now my complaints. The hotel does not have staff, which means you have to auto-checkin (which is fine), and solve any issue remotely by phone. We got room 404, and I knew it was a bad sign as soon as I got the room number. Our room keys cannot open the door to the residence area. There is a door between lobby and residence area. The key...

"Unter Shuttlebus zum Festspielhaus wird hier im Gegensatz zu Bayreuth, Verona… der öffentliche Stadtbus gemeint, aber nicht explizit angesprochen. So kam es, dass mindestens acht Personen sehr knapp mit Taxis zur Vorstellung gebracht werden mussten. Die Taxirechnungen wurden aber anstandslos vom Hotel erstattet "

"Was not a fan of the unattended check-in. There are no employees available at the check-in lobby and it is all done on a self-serve kiosk that eventually dispenses your room keys. The room was great, and the breakfast even better! Wide variety of choices to eat, and the self-serve espresso machine was appreciated."
