"We stayed here for 9 nights. It is rural in an Oahu-sense, but urban enough to be close to stores within 2-15 minutes drive. The beaches over there are much less busy, but just as sandy and sunny as anywhere else on the island. Around Waianae and Makaha, there is a more local, genuine feel, less touristy, which made Robin and Aki's location nice to come home to after a day of driving around Oahu.
