"Very clean and spacious room. Check in/out was simple and efficient. Room Lacked a minifridge. Room was close to the back which meant was quite noisy from trash being taken out late at night and early morning deliveries."

"The Copthorne is excellent value for money… it has big rooms with king size beds, free parking and a wonderful breakfast buffet that includes all the usual hot breakfast foods as well as fruit, breads and cereals. The restaurant is large and looks out over a small lake, so has quite a peaceful atmosphere despite being in a busy part of the suburbs. It is outside of Cardiff, but has a good bus service to the city centre if you want to leave the car there. The rooms are clean, but could do with a little maintenance… the cupboard hinges were slightly off and a few minor issues are starting to appear in the bathrooms. But overall, an excellent place to stay!"

"Very good 2 night stay. Swimming pool, spa etc very good, we thought that a closing time of the pool at 7pm was quite early though for the weekend. Receptionists very heplful and welcoming, Room was very spacious but could only find 1 socket to plug in electricals, which was surpising. Having a balcony with a fantastic view of the Welsh valleys was definitley a bonus. Slightly annoying that they were cutting the grass at 7.30 in the mornings on the golf course which woke us up after an 8 and a half hour drive to get to the hotel the night before, so much for a weekend lie in! All in all, a good stay and would visit again."

"Check in was easy and friendly, a lovely collie welcomed me into the yard as well! The Tack room was clean and comfortable and good for my brief stay. I hadn't appreciated how noisy the motorway would be and so had to close the windows in the bedroom to be able to get to sleep. Apart from that it would be a nice place to stay to explore the area. I was up very early in the morning, and it was perfect for my requirements."
