"The hotel has everything you'll ever need; three golf courses, a driving range, indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, steam room, sauna, children's pool, gym, fitness classes and three restaurants! The staff are super helpful and the rooms are large, modern and well equipped. "

"all worked really smoothly check-in and parking excellent. We ate in the restaurant that evening and the food was much better than usually expected from a chain restaurant. Service excellent and prices good."

"We only stayed for a couple of nights and found the location perfect for exploring Stratford on Avon, the courtesy and efficiency of the staff was exceptional and the room was well equipped. We dined in the restaurant on our first evening and the quality of the food was great. As always in Stratford free parking is an issue so it’s worth bearing in mind that you need to allow £10-14 per day as an add on but we’ve never struggled to find somewhere close to our accommodation Overall a great stay...

"Hotel bar/ dining staff were a bit slow, unresponsive and rude."

"It was a lovely, relaxing stay at the Mercure Walton hotel. Staff was friendly. It was very clean. The room was very nice, although bed was a hard. The breakfast buffet was great. The dinner menu is quite basic, but is food was tasty. There are details that could do with improvements and updates, but all in all a lovely stay and good value for money. The hotel is well located for Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick. "

"Food was very good. Rooms were nice and staff friendly. We had a tiny ussue with the room heat but it was sorted out very quickly. Breagast was very good. Overall great value for money and im sure we will return."

"Had a wonderful stay in a fantastic hotel. Tbere was plenty to see and do of course in Shakespeare's birth place. Sadly we missed the celebrations for his birthday as they took place the weekend before. Nice big room with a lovely bathroom. Loved the tiles on th walls and the floor and the toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the veggie breakfasts and the meals in the hotel bar. Great location. Would stay here again."

"The shower was lacking in pressure and the water was cold when showered in the afternoon. Television didn’t work and stained carpet "

"Well appointed room, comfortable bed, quality fittings. The staff we helpful and efficient. The hotel is a bit of a warren but has all the things you would want to find. It is convenient for the touristic parts of Stratford-upon-Avon and the walk to the RSC is a comfortable 15 minute stroll."
