"Suncroft was a lovely cottage with plenty of facilities. There is only parking for one car but 2nd car parked on road outside. Nice garden but down some steep steps. Unfortunately the boiler did not work Friday night so no heating or showers so called to get repaired. Someone came sat morning and said we needed to reset it. It worked for 10 mins so we had no heating or hot water all weekend. Very disappointing."

"It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was served in a box in our room with loads of choice, and fresh produce in a mini fridge which was lovely. The area is stunning. We took a lovely walk along the path leading directly from the castle, and enjoyed our breakfast overlooking the hill. It is an extremely old building of course and it must be very difficult to manage damp and mould in the rooms over winter. I have rated it slightly down on cleanliness but would recommend staying here for the whole experience!"

"The property was great! Clean, tidy and nicely decorated. Good location for sightseeing. Not much in the village but there’s a pub, a bakery, a Coop, a chippy and pizza so what more is needed. "

"Very well equipped,spacious accommodation in a beautiful quiet village. Many walks from the cottage.Main bedroom bed very comfortable unfortunately second bedroom had a very worn mattress resulting in our friend having disturbed and uncomfortable nights. This should be attended to ASAP as the cottage is not suitable for four adults.Better instructions for the appliances and heating controls would be useful especially the heat control as the cottage vacillated between too hot and no heat!The cottage is classed as pet friendly however there was no way to secure the outside space to ensure the safety of pets. "

Very thorough throughout the booking.The house is lovely with plenty of character and well equipped.Extremely pet friendly with toys for dogs, toys and books for children too and even chocolates and water in the bedrooms.Nice, safe garden with plenty of seating to enjoy the sunshine. "We had a lovely stay at Lavender cottage, the location is ideal for Shenington Kart track. The pastries, milk, butter and orange juice were very much appreciated. The alpacas are cute and can be seen from the bedroom and garden, the hot tub was amazing!"

"A lovely cottage in a quiet, rural area. Spotlessly clean and nicely furnished/decorated. Good communication with the hosts and photos are true to likeness. We were 6 adults and all enjoyed our stay. Our only slight criticism would be that for 6 adults, there is really only one shower - the shower in the main bathroom is attached to the bath taps with no wall fixing so you have to crouch in the bath to use it. However, that was a minor issue and we all agreed we would stay again."
