"Was not sure what to expect, but once we arrived was blown away. the service from the minute we arrived to when we checked out was amazing. The quality of the food was something you expect to find in top restaurants. Pub style garden with lots of comfy seating and class. Location was perfect, we will 100% be going back. "

"Our room at the Lodge was just about ok given the price we paid. At first glance it looked good but we soon became aware the amount of traffic it sees in the form of worn carpet, scratched furniture etc. Worst of all was the bed. A partially collapsed mattress with rounded edges where hundreds had sat before, and no box spring, this thing should have been thrown out long ago. "We stayed in the family studio at The Crown Inn for a wedding at Lapstone Barn which was just 10 minutes away. The room was perfect for us, with a double and 2 single beds. The room has its own entrance away from the main building and we found it quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was great and service from all members of staff friendly and welcoming."
