"We had a great stay at Woodside Cottage. Great location with pubs, butcher and playground all a short walk away. House was more spacious than the photos give credit for, felt plenty spacious for grandparents, parents, toddler and a dog. Would love to visit again"

"We chose the Loft very last minute for our base accommodation whilst waking the first part of the Cotswolds Way. It far exceeded our expectations in every way. We were fortunate to be able to check in early so we could start the walk the afternoon of our arrival. The Loft is very well equipped for everything you might need during a stay. Hotel standard bed linens, spotlessly clean, good sized rooms, no restrictive head room which we thought might be a problem as my husband’s 6ft but not so. Spectacular views from the windows. Warm and cosy. Parking right outside. Local pub, Kings Arms, great food and local deli and shop provided us with food for our trip. We will definitely return."

"Beautiful location. Hotel felt past its prime, certainly for the price. I think you would get better deal booking direct with hotel as i had to pay extra to use the spa and breakfast, which not made clear until we were sat down for breakfast. Would be unlikely to retirn"

"We had a lovely time and the staff are amazing - each one we met was incredibly kind and attentive and friendly. The food and drinks are excellent and the location is great - Chipping Campden is well worth a visit. The hotel is very much its 3 and a half stars - it's not as luxurious as its own website lead us to believe. And it's promoted as somewhere to relax and do nothing in any of its lounges, which is exactly what we needed, but they were always full of people, children and dogs. Our Manor House room was fine with a wonderful view but the bathroom was tired - it was not worth what we paid, which was a lot for what we got. Despite providing the hotel with information in advance to save time checking in - as requested - we still had to give all the same information on arrival. "

"Weren't to a local wedding, needed a room and bed for the night. The hotel was great with a night porter and a decent bed. Breakfast the next morning was first class."

"Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. The kitchen is great, enjoyed cooking in it, well equipped except there is no can opener. The sitting room is very cosy with the fire place and comfy sofas. But the cottage gets a bit cold as the windows and doors downstairs don't shut properly, so if you go in the winter, bring an extra layer as you can feel the draft coming in. Other than that, we had a lovely stay at Letterbox cottage. "
