"This is a really quaint hotel, the rooms are lovely and the staff are friendly, I have stayed twice in the last couple of months when travelling for work. The pub is lovely too serving a vast range of beverages. I would suggest to the property (I haven't asked so not sure if it is an oversight but was the same on both occasions) only 1 towel (although lovely towels) per person and no hand towel, also, a shower mat for inside the shower and a towel for the floor as it is extremely slippery both inside the shower and when you get out."

"An absolutely delightful stay at monastery barn. The hosts were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We loved all the little extra touches and the house was spacious and well thought out out. Would definitely book to stay again as we didn’t stay long enough to appreciate it all this time. Wonderful property wonderful hosts."

"This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. For being on a busy road it was very quiet. Michelle is welcoming, but leaves you to get on with your stay. I would stay there again."

"We used this as a base for a nearby multi-day county golf tournament. It was perfect for our needs providing a warm, comfortable and exceptionally quiet home where we could rest and reset after our long days out on the course. Our host was helpful throughout. From the initial enquiry, thru the early check-in, and the return visit to collect forgotten items! Nothing was too much trouble."
