"Simple room with comfortable bed, no air conditioning but our nights cooled down. The rooms are above a pub that often stayed busy till @ 11pm. For us, the noise never bothered us. Wasn't too fond of the smokers, but we delt with it. It was wonderful to have a pub below, we could wander down in the evening for a nightcap, play some cards, or grab a dessert. The town was lovely to take an evening walk in. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed them all. We really enjoyed our stay here, it felt as though we truly immersed ourselves in a quaint Cotswold village. Thank You all."
Sweetheart Cottage-Cosy 2BD in Cotswolds

"We loved the cosiness of this very ‘sweet’ cottage! Tucked away in a small village near Banbury but with access to all sorts of places including Stratford upon Avon , Oxford and the Cotswolds, we were able to go out and sightsee every day. The village itself had history tucked away in its lovely church and the interesting Tithe Barn. After all these adventures it was very pleasant to come home to make supper with the help of a well stocked kitchen. In the mornings we loved sitting outside at the small table and chairs in the lovely garden. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to make this a very pleasant place to stay. And also Red Kite have been very helpful even when I left some items behind they found them and offered to forward them. Highly recommend this sweetheart cottage!"

"My wife and I have been back to Heath Farm Cottages on and off for the last 19 years! The location is idyllic and tranquil, the front of the property is a perfect sun trap, with the sound of the waterfall very relaxing. The rear of the property has its own exclusive hot tub/bbq area with a beautiful balcony and a breathtaking view of the fields, woodlands and the lake. There is a genuine sense of peace and relaxation about the entire place. We look forward to coming back many times in the future, as there is so much to do and so many places to visit nearby. Thank you so much to the Barbour family for always making us feel special. We can thoroughly recommend the Thai massage that is offered. It’s wonderful. Stephen and Karen. Xxx"

"Staying here was a slice of heaven! The cottage itself was incredibly comfortable and very well equipped with a great private garden in front. I love to cook, and the kitchen had everything I needed, which is rare with short-term rentals.The small grocery across the street was perfect for our needs, and there was plenty to do in the area, with beautiful local walks, several nice pubs, and Norton Hook brewery close by. Multiple sites in the cotswalds are just a short drive away. Being able to light a real fire in the fireplace was a treat. We would love to return!"

"We stayed here over Mayday bank holiday as a group of 10 plus our dog. The booking process and comms were excellent. The house was easy to find due to great signage and was beautiful. The location was just outside a small village on the edge of a farm so very rural. It was a 15-20 minute walk from the nearest pub (The George which is well worth a visit). Lots of lovely walks round the house. House had 3 bedrooms plus an adjoining annex With 2 further bedrooms. Nice living room which would seat 10 plus a dining area and kitchen. We BBQd outdoors and cooked in the kitchen, plenty of space for both. The garden is lovely, the house is a 13th century converted mill so you have to expect some compromises including lots of steps! A great break with lovely friendly owners living close by."
