"This is a very unusual and enjoyable place to stay. An old castle turret on the edge of a cliff with a few rooms. Parking is difficult and there are steep stairs to some of the rooms. The location is lovely with sweeping views down across the vale where the Battle of Edgehill took place. There is a large beer garden. The bar is characterful and comfy selling beers made 3 miles away and a gin made in the top floor of the turret. Both are delicious. The real star is the restaurant. Delicious beautifully cooked food from local ingredients. Excellent reasonably priced wine list. Both food and wine served by friendly attentive staff. Continental breakfast is limited but good. A gem!"
