"I cannot think of a better place to have started our honeymoon in Spain. The staff was incredible. They were all so friendly and pleasant to interact with. The hotel itself if very clean and its location is PERFECT for exploring Malaga by foot. Parking is conveniently located at Plaza de la Marina only a few seconds away from the hotel. "We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Our room was so nice. We were able to open up our balcony door and look out onto the city and harbor. We walked everywhere and we will definitively return! The rooftop pool was awesome and the view from there was spectacular!"

"What a gem!! This hotel is close to everything. You step out the door to your left for restaurants and shopping and if you step out to the right you get to the historical area to see the Roman theatre, Alcazaba and the cathedral. Plaza de la Merced where you’re close to Picasso’s childhood home and his statue. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as we left too early for our flight. "I enjoyed a wonderful 8 night stay at Atenea Apartments recently. I had booked the accommodation after reading very good reviews and I completely agree with their judgement. Atenea Apts provided a wonderful base to explore Malaga and the region. It is situated conveniently in a quiet street in the historic centre of the city, making all the main sights extremely accessible. Angle and Larissa were delightfully friendly, welcoming and helpful. All in all, a great find and I shall return very soon!...

"Highlight of our trip. Incredible location, great staff, amazing breakfast, and facilities. Wonderful sea view room with deck overlooking the beach. Lots of places to walk. Hotel staff made up two twin beds as one larger bed, which worked well. The overall atmosphere was impressive and relaxing. Everyone was so friendly. We would certainly stay again. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Balcon de Europa."
