"The towel situation by pool - people putting towels at 6am and no space was the most terrible I’ve ever seen. On holiday and having to set an alarm to get a space. Set that rule in place - it’s ridiculous"

"This is my second stay, and the experience is 5-star from start to finish. The rooms are large, clean, and well maintained. The Air Conditioning is on another level, which is such a relief in the summer heat. The pools, both private and communal, are clean and stunning. The breakfast is a delicious spread of both buffet and à la carte. Lastly, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel taken care of. 100% coming back!"

"Very very good, but it’s further from old town and Dassia then one would think A car service would be a welcomed addition. Baked into the per night cost that would go into old town or other areas of the island on time increments"

"Hotel Contessina is brilliant. An oasis of a hotel in what is a bustling resort town. Once inside the doors you could be anywhere in the world. The design of the renovated hotel is brilliant. Modern and sophisticated, and the planting is beautifully done. We enjoyed 2 weeks here, using it as a base to discover the island when we had a car for some of the time. The main pool area is lovely, but be warned, all of the pools are 1.4m deep with no shallow / deep ends."
