The decking area outside of the bar was very dirty with holes in the seat covers and the whole are could do with a clean and a tidy up. We had a printout from an email which said to use the Gileston Manor Courtyard with cream gates as the entrance, upon arrival at 7:30PM (more than 3 hours before check in ended) the gates were locked and the number provided was going straight to voicemail. "This is a special place, beautiful grounds, where you can walk freely walk. Our daughter had the opportunity to feed the Alpacas and sheep, which was very special. The accommodation is fantastic, we stayed in the Stables, which has a conservatory, it mkes all the difference to open these doors to the garden at the back. All in all, a very special place we can't wait to visit again! Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly."

There was plenty of choice at breakfast - well worth the price. The Hotel was tastefully furnished and decorated with quirky colours. King size bed was very comfortable. The outside courtyard was well kept with plenty of tables. Even though there were plenty of guests and a wedding going on, it was still a peaceful place to stay and strike up conversations with other guests. A very safe and friendly environment. This is a place we would definitely revisit. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. "
