"Superb in every way. Warm and welcoming staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Cosy but spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed. Fantastic home cooked food and plenty of it! A roaring log fire and honesty bar for drinks and snacks. The views are spectacular and although in a quiet location, within easy reach of the shops. "

"We had an excellent stay. Nick greeted us on arrival. Everything that we needed was in our room and Nick was on hand to give recommendations for the area. The stunning Valley of Rocks was pretty much on the doorstep and the shops and restaurants were stone throw away. The cooked breakfast was lovely and it was a nice touch that we had a card and chocolates on our table as it was Easter Sunday. "

"Hotel is in beautiful setting with stunning views. There are a couple of lounges where you can relax looking at the stunning scenery. There is an honesty bar you can help yourself to drinks & nibbles at a reasonable cost. Breakfast was fantastic and very delicious with locally sourced produce and they cater for coeliacs. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bedroom was lovely with complementary snacks, tea, coffee and fresh milk. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom too. The hotel is only Bed &...

"Russel and Nicky made us feel very welcome and at home , the breakfast are amazing and worth a revisit alone ! The room was clean and tidy , the en-suite was spacious and the views from our windows over the river were great . We had bedroom 3 and the river runs directly outside and the sounds and views of the river are very relaxing . We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely quiet peaceful break with lovely walks right on your doorstep.. we will be back for sure "
