"Really friendly welcome on arrival. Staff were really helpful throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Would like to give a big thanks to Chris who greeted us on arrival. Room was was really comfortable and we had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our meals, we had dinner in the evening and cooked breakfast in the morning. Couldn’t fault either. Good selection for breakfast - cooked, continental, omelettes, pancakes. Would definitely recommend Maltsters Arms, and would stay here...

There is no lift so carrying your bags up a staircase you need to be reasonably fit. 2. Lack of shelves and only a narrow windowcill in the bathroom. "Rooms were excellant, breakfast was really good but best of all the most dog friendly place I've everstayed!! This was an extremely busy Saturday night pub where I sat at the bar with my dog also sat on a stool. When door security come over and make a fuss of your dog and go and get some treats, it was just brilliant. A really lovely stay. I won't make the mistake of asking for a full English for breakfast in a Welsh pub again!!! "

"Just returned home from a lovely stay at The Sandrock in Lynton. The Sandrock is a little out of the way of the main high street but still only a 5 minute walk to the shops etc. We stayed in room 4 which was clean and well appointed, the en suite was spacious (huge infact!)and the towels really fluffy, it was also super clean and tidy. "This was a great place to stay for two nights when visiting Cardiff to watch the rugby with family. We had two apartments; they were brilliantly located, extremely functional and clean - which is exactly what we needed them to be.
