"The room was great. A little on the small side but everything we needed. Modern and clean with quality fixtures, fittings and consumables. Lots of hot water, easy to control heating, great bathroom shelf and mirror. Top marks for the full length mirror with socket, decent hairdryer and light above in the bedroom. This is something I cant understand other hotels get so wrong - you’ve got it so right! First time I’ve found this ideal set up. Great breakfast too! Quality food at a reasonable...

"Really friendly welcome on arrival. Staff were really helpful throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Would like to give a big thanks to Chris who greeted us on arrival. Room was was really comfortable and we had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our meals, we had dinner in the evening and cooked breakfast in the morning. Couldn’t fault either. Good selection for breakfast - cooked, continental, omelettes, pancakes. Would definitely recommend Maltsters Arms, and would stay here...

"All of the staff were superb and so friendly and helpful. Absolutely super breakfast well worth the price. Accomodation was spotless. Couple of small downsides 1. There is no lift so carrying your bags up a staircase you need to be reasonably fit. 2. Lack of shelves and only a narrow windowcill in the bathroom. The two drawers between the beds were ok but the top was where the tray for kettle , cups and tea and coffee was stored. 3. The TV was a good smart TV but at a 90° angle to the beds. No...

"Stayed at the Rose and Crown for two nights with friends. The staff were amazing. Service was excellent and the food delicious. The location was perfect being a short walk to the stunning coastline. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here"

"Rooms were excellant, breakfast was really good but best of all the most dog friendly place I've everstayed!! This was an extremely busy Saturday night pub where I sat at the bar with my dog also sat on a stool. When door security come over and make a fuss of your dog and go and get some treats, it was just brilliant. A really lovely stay. I won't make the mistake of asking for a full English for breakfast in a Welsh pub again!!! "
