"I throughly enjoyed my stay at the Alex. Staff was more than friendly and accommodating, the facilities are immaculately clean and the room and property had everything I wanted in a hotel. The Ski room with heated boot and glove warmers in my private locker were a fantastic add that I wasn’t aware of. Sofi and the staff were very friendly. "Overall very good. There were a couple of maintenance issues I raised with our room which unfortunately weren’t resolved during our stay (eg bath plug was not operating so bath could not be filled). There was no follow up on this to keep us informed. There was no turndown service which seemed a bit odd for a 5* hotel. Otherwise, everything was great and it is a lovely hotel."
