"Clean, comfy, quiet room. I asked the man on reception if it was ok for my 16 year old son to come into the bar with me to watch the live band- he was very stern and said he would turn a blind eye and my son would not be allowed alcohol and that they would be ‘watching’!! I wouldn’t allow my son to drink alcohol, I just wanted him to be able to watch the live band (who were very entertaining!) so I was surprised to see the bar had lots of children running around after 9pm! I felt the man was very annoyed about being asked!! (Friday 3rd July’26)"

"First, Angela, the host was superb! Communications with her was exceptional! She immediately responded to any question. The house is in an ideal location - a very short distance from the center of Adare yet it is in a quiet, country setting. It is perfect to stay there for several days and make day trips to Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Cashel Rock, Cliffs of Moher and more. The house is large with 5 bedrooms and lots of space for all. This is our second time staying in this house. My husband and I brought 5 of our grandchildren - all late teens to share the experience of visiting western Ireland and sharing this house. I highly recommend this house and hope to return some day!"

"Location was a tad bit out of the way from some activities, the bus, and train, but what it lacked in location, it made up in amenities. The room is spacious, clean, has air conditioning, and the bed is big. Check out is later than most other hotels and the staff was very helpful in holding our luggage and recommending things to do. Comfortable, relaxing, and would definitely stay here again."

"Our family travelled around Ireland and London for 2 weeks and stayed at 9 different hotels and this was the best hotel we stayed at even though it was the least expensive. The newly remodeled rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff was very friendly and it was within walking distance of the Bunratty castle and other restaurants. The most pleasant surprise though was the spa with a beautiful pool and saunas along with a great workout facility. If you are planning to stay anywhere near this hotel I would highly recommend it."

"We enjoyed our stay but on reflection I feel that it was mean of them to OFFER an alternative room which had a different bed layout to the one I had booked and access to a room with tea, coffee etc ( which closed at 10pm ??) and then be asked to pay an extra €30. I was contacted after checking out to pay for extras which had been paid for at checkout. The staff were all very friendly and breakfast was good."
