"The host was so welcoming. He and his wife made us feel right at home. We immediately felt comfortable and like we weren’t just guests in their home but long time friends. Their hospitality was so appreciated. And the home made breads, yogurt, and preserves didn’t hurt either!! 😉 Highly recommend!"

"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat.
We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"We found this gem on our way south and so glad we stayed. The couple who hosted us were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. The view from the pool was incredible. It is a quiet town so there’s not much around but the city of Sarlat was wonderful. Sunday market is a must! "

"Nous avions choisi cet hôtel, car il est noté 10, exceptionnel. Loin de là… Toile d’araignée devant la porte, douche avec tous les coins noirs, et l’ensemble a quand même beaucoup vieilli. Le petit déjeuner est correct, tout juste. Étonnée par la note que j’avais vue, j’ai v érifié et constaté que les avis datent de 2013. L’hôtel a bien vieilli… malgré cela, la literie est assez confortable et l’ensemble plutôt silencieux."
