"This was the most disgusting prperty i have ever booked. It was so bad we couldn't stay there. We contacted the company to complain and now they have stopped communicating with us. No refund is forthcoming. The smell in the place was awful and lingered on our clothes long after we left. The photographs put on the detals were not a true reflection of the reality. Overall I would not recommended anyone to stay here. A complete rip off."

"Room was spacious, clean, tidy and fresh. Staff at the front desk, bar and kitchen were also very nice, clear when instructing and very polite. Were happy to help with any questions too. Again the staff at the spa were also very helpful and happy to help with any queries. "

"It met my expectations, if you consider the price. The only thing that didn’t quite match my expectation was for breakfast options. That may be expedia’s fault in picking up on the wrong info about the property. The breakfast is only instant coffee , some fruits and super basic pastry. Which would have been just fine if it was clearer when booking "

"This property is in bad need of an update. The carpets are worn. The walls are damaged and dirty. The bathroom in our room had numerous odors emitting from it at different times of the day - something skunky, something sewer-like and just plain mildew. The floor was worn and waterlogged. The shower curtain didn’t reach the entire length of the tub so it was easy to splash water onto the floor while showering. Someone on the floor above us was running annd stomping around until after 1. The room was stifling hot, with no ac and zero air circulation because the window only cracks open a few inches. There was a fan that we had to leave on the entire time and it did very little to circulate the air or alleviate the odors. The location is convenient to go between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The town has a train station. The area seemed safe and quiet. It was one of very few available options for a very busy week in Edinburgh. We will not be staying here again. "
