My feedback is we would've loved to be staying IN the castle versus units that were quite far from the castle. Had we known the rooms were detached and 5 minutes walk, we wouldn't have booked; it should be clearly stated. "

"The promo for this hotel on Expedia was very misleading. We wanted to stay on or near Vaxholm. This hotel ad claims to be right near Vaxholm but it is nowhere near it, unless maybe you have private transportation We paid for the room at a non refundable rate . It is hard to get to Vaxholm from this hotel without a car. We therefore could not stay at the hotel. In fact, we immediately realized that as soon as we made the reservation and called the hotel and contacted Expedia but Expedia said...
