Wonderful ground floor apartment in the heart of Balaia Golf Village. This development offers access to various swimming pools and children's pools, tennis and golf courts, Kids club and indoor pool (to be scheduled at the resort reception). A few minutes from Maria Luísa beach, it is the ideal location for relaxing family holidays, combining sport, nature and well-being.



The accommodation is decorated with attention to detail to provide the best stay for guests. The kitchen is fully equipped. The dwelling has three bedrooms, perfect for families and friends. The apartment is fully equipped to ensure a pleasant stay. In the outdoor area, there are sun loungers and a social space.



Just a few minutes from the Water Eyes Centre, where you will find all the necessary services and restaurants. The house offers free Wi-Fi and all the amenities for a memorable stay, as well as air conditioning in the rooms.

Very nice location. The whole resort is very well maintained, the pools are lovely, clean and great facilities around them. Didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t speak to them Property was also lovely, good facilities and matched the photos. Very responsive hosts, all questions really quickly dealt with Would recommend.

Great location

Great location. Close to the sea, stores and restaurants. The whole resort was very well looked after, including the golf course. At the end of the day we all went to the pool and at night the house served as a movie theater and restaurant. A few times we asked for food but it was possible to make breakfast. We're not much for cooking ourselves, but having everything to hand helped a lot. The photos are real. The hosts were very welcoming.

Best place to stay

It doesn’t even feel like a vacation home, it’s so beautiful. Very modern, everything so well organized that I felt very comfortable. The host left a cleaning kit for our arrival, which was really convenient since we were tired and no one wanted to go out shopping. The rest of the trip went smoothly, we made good use of the pool and enjoyed walking around the area. The city is also very beautiful. We’ve been to other cities in Portugal, but this was our first time in the Algarve. Definitely a life-changing experience.

Apartment was as described and matched pictures and description. Was modern. Had air con in all rooms except the living room but that wasn’t an issue. 2 bathrooms were decent sizes. Showers were good quality. I found the beds comfy my husband didn’t I guess it’s down to personal taste. Having washing machine and tumble dryer was a bonus for me. Had a small tv in the living room, none in any the bedrooms. Apartment is better accessed by a car and having car hire but it is possible to access without one. We didn’t have a car but we’re prepared to use Uber which is very well established in the area and worked out cheaper for us than car hire would have been for family of 6. Swimming pools and golf club/driving range are within walking distance of the apartment. There is a hotel (Algafar) to the left of the property that does food including a breakfast buffet for 12E per adult 6E per child. Kids club was available Mon, Wed and Fri 10-12 - we didn’t use so not sure finer details. .

Villa in Balaia Golf Village - good and bad

5 adults stayed in this 3 bedroom villa in Balaia Golf Village in September 2023. We know the area well - the complex has excellent facilities, several swimming pools, plenty of sun loungers, golf and tennis, and is a short walk to the beach. The villa is located in a quiet part of the complex. The property was clean inside, spacious, has a modern, well-equipped kitchen, and 2 good, relatively new bathrooms. There is air-conditioning in all 3 bedrooms (but not in the lounge area). All the websites that advertise this villa, state that it has 4 bathrooms and can accommodate 8 people - there are only 2 bathrooms and the fold down bed in the lounge area is broken. There are only 3 wine glasses (2 white and one red). The patio area is spacious but was dirty and the furniture is in a state of disrepair - the cushions are either ripped or smell of cats. The decoration in the villa will not be to everyone’s taste - it is cluttered with no apparent coordinated design. With a little bit of effort and thought this could be an excellent property.

The photos accurately reflect the place. We arrived in the early hours, and well before that, the host kindly called us to send the instructions for getting into the accommodation, as we didn’t have internet and hadn’t replied to the messages. It was a thoughtful gesture. The entire resort is lovely and very well-kept. We had a fantastic week there with the family.

Nos perdimos en el condominio y los anfitriones nos ayudaron a llegar. Era nuestra primera vez en Portugal y no estábamos acostumbrados. Nos ayudaron de inmediato y pronto nos dimos cuenta de que estábamos muy cerca. Luego necesitábamos ayuda para usar el lavavajillas y, una vez más, fueron muy amables. O apartamento era exatamente como descrito, tudo correspondia as fotos e a descrição. Moderno, bem decorado e super bem equipado. O ar condicionado em todos os quartos foi uma grande vantagem, principalmente nas noites muito quentes, trazendo muito conforto. os banheiros eram ótimos, com bons chuveiros. O sofá e as camas eram extremamente confortáveis, o que deixou nossa estadia ainda mais relaxante. Me senti realmente em casa, o que fez toda a diferença para aproveitarmos ao máximo o tempo que passamos lá.

L'ambiance est très calme et familiale.

C'était très agréable de séjourner dans un appartement suffisamment spacieux pour accueillir confortablement toute la famille et avec tout le nécessaire pour préparer nos repas. La cuisine est entièrement équipée et moderne. Nous ne savions pas trop comment allumer le four, mais nous avons contacté l'hôte, qui nous a aidés rapidement. Nous ne sommes pas vraiment des amateurs de golf, mais nous avons beaucoup profité de la piscine.
