"Excluding the incident that occurred at midnight where the fire alarms and announcements repeating over the intercom woke me and my sick daughter out of a dead sleep, it was an excellent stay. We stood outside for approximately 45 minutes waiting for the all clear and then the electricity was out for most of the next day. Apparently something happened on our block that was out of their control. Common area lighting and an elevator was restored and then eventually power in our rooms by the next afternoon. Meanwhile the staff was as kind and accommodating as possible. All this to say that I enjoyed my 4-night stay so much on the other days that I am returning in July. The helpful staff, comfortable rooms, and fun atmosphere filled with complimentary appetizers and drinks are my reason for returning. "

"Only negative: they had plenty of rooms ready for check-in prior to 3 PM. However they charged an extra $25 to get into the rooms before that time. They did no extra work. There wasn’t a line of people clamoring for attention at the front desk. There was zero inconvenience to the hotel, yet they charged an extra fee. What’s the message they’re sending?"
