Top Old Presbyterian Meeting House Hotel Reviews
The Alexandrian Old Town Alexandria, Autograph Collection
10/10 Excellent
"Although first impressions of tattered entry rugs, the hotel was welcoming. The staff were friendly and accmmodating, The evening started with a complimentary drink (either sangria or an old fashioned). Being directly on King street , it allowed for easy walking to the waterfront, restaurants and pubs. The free King street trolley was an added bonus. Our room was clean and comfortable "
"Quiet comfortable room with lots of space. Just a short walk to old town for sit down dining. Also very close to Harris Teeter and Trader Joe's for snacks. The bakery in the building has croissants to die for and some GF options. The staff is certainly top notch. "
"Ask for Andrew at the Kiln bar-he mixes up a mean espresso martini. Reception people are great. Avoid room 226, as its bathroom window faces a VERY loud industrial AC unit (although it is nicely camouflaged with foliage). That was our only minor negative mark in our overwhelmingly positive stay. Book it. "
"This was one of my best travel experiences, ever. The hotel is walkable from the local Amtrak station and nestled on King Street with access to a free trolley (to local shops/eateries and the Potomac waterfront). The hotel's bar/grille and newly-opened HomeGrown breakfast and brunch were phenomenal. The room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet. And the staff was top notch - giving local tips and even helping me celebrate my birthday with a special treat. I will definitely return. "
