We stayed in this property for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary and we were travelling with our 9 months old baby.
Location: its the heart of the town with a walking distance to everything- marina, old town, best restaurants, tourist attractions, supermarket and drug store. We really enjoyed evening walks with the baby.
What went well: we requested baby cot and a good view when making a reservation. The hotel staff satisfied our request and we were provided with a great street and marina view as well as with the baby cot and extra towels for the baby. we also travelled from Lisbon on a rented car and the property management provided us with a parking card free of charge- which was a very kind gesture.
what did not go well: the elevator (old and therefore small but its expected of an old european building) was between the floors so you have to take stairs of half of the floor to get to your floor- not very convenient for people with baby, lots of luggage, stroller or senior citizens. we only learned at the property that breakfast is not provided during the low season but there were plenty of restaurants around that served breakfasts. Finally, the entrance door to the building is very hard to open in the evenings, it opens only half way through and gets stuck to the files on the floor. Again, perfect for enter for one person at a time but a real struggle to enter with a baby stroller.
