Comfortable house in historic Barrio and 5 minutes walk to town centre

We have a superb kitchen with lots of prep space and full size fridge/freezer for all those essentials, and just off the kitchen is our gorgeous traditional Andalucian patio with inglenook seating area plus other seating areas and raised beds with flowers and herbs. The sitting room is large and we provide books for our guests as well as TV and DVD. We have high speed broadband so the house is ideal for digital nomads. For cosy winter nights there's a log burning stove in the sitting room. Set over two floors there aren't too many stairs and it's a modern marble staircase with handrail. All three bedrooms are a good size and two have fitted wardrobes. There's a family bathroom as well as an ensuite bedroom. As the house is in the historic part of town and near to some of the oldest buildings in the town the tour groups do pass by. The local church is also close-by so you will hear church bells. Parking is on-street and first served, there are no allocated parking spaces. Guests might prefer to park by the town hall where the road is wider and walk a few minutes to the house.
Alhama de Granada is famous for it's gorge with walking routes, bars and restaurants as well as the spa hotel and hot springs on the outskirts of town. It's a perfect place for walkers, cyclists or if you just want to relax and enjoy the local wine and tapas. Granada city is 50 minutes away. It's best to have a hire car as public transport while daily is not frequent.
