"Couldn’t recommend more highly than this delightful home. The owners have spent a lot of money as the details, fixtures, moldings, appliances are high end. Someone had great decorating taste as well. I should have followed the directions more closely as my satnav took me to another road of the same name. The host was very nice to make sure we found it and all I can say is we wished we had more time there."

"Some friends and I rented this stunning property for a weekend and enjoyed every moment. The whole property is spacious, light and equipped with high quality fixtures and fittings. We all slept really well with the surrounding area being so quiet and the beds so comfortable. We loved the games room and the table tennis and pool tables were in almost constant use. The private garden was lovely too and comes with a badminton set. The swimming pool is excellent. It's large enough to swim proper lengths, warm enough to enjoy on a mild day and had a generous array of floats and furniture for relaxing in. The surrounding trees and soaring birds of prey add to the peaceful atmosphere. The local pub is noteworthy, with its large garden, tasty local ales and fine dining. Walking beyond the village isn't so great with many of the bridle paths out of use, so hikers will have to travel further afield. The hosts were friendly and helpful when needed. The barn adjoins their property but we weren't disturbed or interrupted by their movements. Our only complaint would be the bright floodlights that shine into the lounge area at night, which were a bit distracting. Overall it's a luxury experience with plenty to keep families and friends entertained. Highly recommend."

"Really need a shelf in the double bedroom near the bed. Either a small one either side or on back wall as nowhere to put glasses, a phone or a book etc except the floor which wasn't great, especially as the space was very tight either side of the bed. Also while there were plenty of plates etc there weren't enough glasses for 4 people. Only 2 prosecco glasses and 3 tumblers for example. While these may have been broken by a previous booking, for each booking there should be enough of each for at least the number of guests staying. Apart from that we thought that the accommodation was very nice!"

"The Angel is situated in the historic and picturesque village of Long Crendon in Buckinghamshire. The building is centuries old which is reflected in the architecture. I had a very comfortable room and a bed that allowed a really good sleep. There were plenty of dining options within a short drive. I took a walk into the village which presented some wonderfully thatched cottages and buildings. Breakfast was really tasty with ingredients that were obviously locally sourced. I would look to stay here in the future."

"It would have been helpful to have the coach house situated on the map so that we would have known where it was on arrival. There is no mention of the property in any of the Waterperry Gardens documents. As a couple, when searching online, the coach house was highlighted however, it was extremely spacious and could sleep six people at least therefore, was a bit impersonal for just us two. However, it provided an enjoyable space when our grandchildren came to visit! All the staff made our stay very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble."
