"We were happy with the service received. The hotel was easy to find and slightly away from the hustle and bustle that you find closer to Bicester village shopping which was nice. The building is modern and clean, the carpark accommodates comfortably. The staff at the reception desk were smiley and pleasant to speak to, they also gave us a discount code for parking so it was £7 for 24 hours. Our room was on the fourth floor right at the end of the building, it was clean. The bathroom was a good size, no signs of mould or dirt. The room was a good size, bed comfortable, everything appeared clean and we had no complaints. The window was able to open slightly which was nice, as sometimes if I’m higher up in a hotel I feel claustrophobic if the windows do not open. Great long mirror in the room and good lighting. I didn’t take up the offer of a free breakfast however menu looks good and bar is 24 hours. Overall happy with the service, would recommend. "

"The room was dated, the carpets were stained and the room dusty. The staff were unhelpful. There was no safety hand rail in the bath/shower to facilitate safely getting out of the bath/shower. The noise from the entertainment below the room was horrendous and unexpected as no warning of live music when I booked."

"We have had a lovely few days here(March 2026). It is an idyllic spot, quiet and peaceful, but only a short drive or nice walk into Brill. the views from those windows are spectacular and the property is just lovely. If I was forced to pick a negative I’d say the shower is a little small and it’s a gas oven. I’d put up with those two minor gripes for that view and comfort any day."

"Business/CPD trip. Everything i needed was on the premises. Staff on friday night were very busy, but always attend to your needs. Cottage was squeaky clean. Thank you sooo much! Lively and vibrant Pub (nice to see it so busy ☺️). Dinner and breakfast absolutely delicious. Service outstanding. Hope at some Point (er) 🐾朗 i will have to come back. Thank you all the staff."

"This place was amazing. It has been lovingly converted into accommodation with so much attention to detail that you don’t want to leave. The additional Christmas decorations were super cute and appreciated as well as the full service kitchen (with coffee and milk), games and fabulous top floor 360°window to watch the sunrise/sunset, wildlife etc. Highly recommend a stay here. "
