"Very short walk to downtown Manteo. A short drive to the beach. Clean and comfortable. No kitchenette so not great for a long stay but perfect for a long weekend! We really enjoyed it sad it rained alot but there are plenty of things to do close by."

"We were in Rm #5 Cozy feel. Needs a wider nightstand. The shower has a powerful blast. I actually don't mind that. However, you can't get it started prior to getting in, so be prepared for the blast! lol Parking is right in front of your door, so safe enough."

"Everything was fantastic. The beach is just about a 15-minute drive away. The only thing I would say is that they don’t clean the rooms very frequently. If you stay for a few days, you have to request it."

"My family loved staying at Brinkley House! The home was beautiful and just as fantastic as the pictures. We had plenty of space to spread out and relax. We enjoyed games around the very large table and watched movies in the living room. We also greatly enjoyed the pool! All of our favorite OBX locations were easily reached from staying here. One of our family members is looking to book next summer with friends.The hosts were very responsive to all messages both before and after the stay. Beds were comfortable and the house temperature controls in each space made it easy for everyone to be happy!"

"The house was a great fit for our trip traveling with my teenagers and my parents. One bathroom had a handicap toilet making it higher, which was perfect for my parents. It was adequately furnished for light cooking and had plenty of room for us to not only sleep but hang out. It was clean, well kept and stocked with necessary items like hand soap, dishwasher and washer pods. The owner communicated well and check out was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again."
