"The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . "What can I say, an absolutely gorgeous house and what a view!! The house exceeded our expectations- we travel with 2 wheelchair users and often struggle but this house was perfect for us. Kathleen was very quick at responding to our messages and extremely helpful with all our queries. The local area was full of friendly people and so very beautiful. I would 100% recommend this place for a perfect holiday, we all would love to go again"

"We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. "The property is outstanding and we could have sat on the couches and stared out the window, all week. You can see cliffs, a beach and a beautiful view to hills on the other side of the bay. We had a couple of days of poor weather and simply stayed in and enjoyed the property. We had a few mechanical issues but most of them were our own ignorance of how the appliances worked. "Stayed a week with my family for the last week of September. The house was perfect, with everything we needed (Cora, the owner, was also great with communicating with us, thank you!). The view from the patio on top of the hill overlooking Castletown Berehaven and Bere Island was incredibly beautiful. The house is close to town and a short drive to the West shores of Allihies and the Southern stretch down near Dursey Island. All around a perfect 10 spot, highly recommend this magical place.
