The room was very noisy until after 3:00 AM. The bed was comfortable but the single paned windows did not block any of the street noise. Perhaps a room on the 4th floor would be quieter.

"Hotel Ashley"
Staff was pleasant, helpful and informative. Keys need to be left at reception but this isn't a big problem. Room was spacious (for one) and had a large bathtub which was great to relax in after a long month of travels!

"Handy for city centre"
The hotel is ideal for the Cork city centre with only a short walk to the main shops and restaurants. The facilities ie gym and swimming pool were lovely. The room were fairly sized for a triple room and fairly comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced.the staff were very helpful.

"Comfortable hotel"
Very good hotel with excellent facilities. My room was on the top floor. It met my needs perfectly but it would have been a tight squeeze for a couple. I had a shower but no bath. This was fine for me but again may not suit everyone. On the first night there was loud music coming from somewhere outside. It doesn't bother me as I just stuff ear plugs in and go to sleep, but it may be a problem for some people. The staff were extremely helpful, ordering taxis etc. the city centre location meant we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and in the evening I had a pasta which was one of the best I've ever had.

"Great hotel with wonderful staff"
This hotel is well located for views of the river and an easy walk to the shopping areas. It is very close to the bus station and a 10 minute walk to the train station, which was very convenient. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff attentive, worth the extra supplement. Staff were very helpful with looking after luggage and allowing me to print off my boarding passes. The room was large and comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the spa facilities very much. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

"Long weekend in Cork"
Nice hotel, very helpful staff, good food menu for families, and very good value breakfast when with kids. Only minor frustration was that the 'double sofa bed' in our family room was not really big enough for two children (age 7 and 11) to sleep comfortably. Staff were helpful in providing what we needed to make it work as best possible though as no other rooms were available.

"A couple of days in Cork"
The hotel is located about 5 minute walk from Cork centre, with easy and convenient parking on site. The room we were given first on the ground floor was a handicap room right next to thd liftwell. It was noisy and after the first night we asked to be moved and were given a far better room on the top floor. The staff were keen to please us and nothing was a problem. Our second night was quiet and far more acceptable. Breakfast was excellent.
